Carpenter’s Star HST Quilt

This quilt design may be called the Carpenter’s Star, Carpenter’s Square, or Carpenter’s Wheel, depending on the maker. The Carpenter’s Square is also the name of another block made up of narrow strips designed in interlocking, concentric squares. The most common name today for this block is the Carpenter’s Star.
My version of this quilt is designed simply with two contrasting prints and a solid background. The fat quarter method of making HSTs makes this a very quick quilt to assemble. There is still a border to be added and this post will be updated upon completion. Of course, there will be some wonderful quilting to finish this quilt off, too.
